United 4 Blackburn 1 Blogging Round-up

Manchester United blog.. reports that United were Battered and bruised but simply brilliant…

On 61 minutes the Ginger Prince that is Paul Scholes broke the visitors resistance to bring United level after somehow wriggling free to score a brilliant goal and in doing so igniting the atmosphere.

Scholes’ goal was truly excellent and will help bring home the title this season.

You can see the goal below, which biffafootie describes as “one of the best I’ve seen in a long time.” I can’t help but agree.

ManUisNo.1 thinks that the latest injury woe wont stop United

Even United’s current injury curse - Serbian defender Nemanja Vidic the latest to be lost with a shoulder injury that will sideline him for four to five weeks according to Sir Alex Ferguson - does not seem capable of applying the brakes to United’s triumphal march towards yet more silverware.

I wouldn’t like to think what would happen if Rio got injuried, but we just about have cover. Perhaps Heinze can come into centre back and let Evra back in at left-back. This would allow Wes to continue at right-back until Neville gets back.

Speaking of Rio, Who Ate All the Pies shows the moment when Rio lost it and slammed the ball into the crowd. Rio quickly realised what he had done and after the game gave his shirt to the woman (apparently).
