United On Fire

Back to the reality of the Premiership after another great win over an Italian side. Everton away is a hard game and apart from the multiple Chelsea games and AC Milan away, our hardest remaining game.

It appears that Ferdinand, Neville and Vidic will all still be out so expect the same defence as Milan. I think Smith will return up front, it will be his sort of game. Saha is expected to be back on the bench and I hope he doesn’t get a career threatening splinter or something (he is that unfortunate with injuries). I’m hoping penalty boy Andy Johnson isn’t fit in time as he is Everton’s main threat.

Unusually Chelsea are playing Bolton at the same time as us (not sure if both are on the box?) and I’m hoping that Bolton play for the full 90 minutes unlike last week against Reading. Shame it isn’t Arsenal chasing us as they would likely slip up against the Wanderers.
