- United have sold striker Giuseppe Rossi to Spanish side Villarreal for a reported £6.7m fee.
- However, the Republic of Mancunia thinks its another piece of crafty dealing from Fergie after we find out we have first refusal on Rossi’s next transfer. I have to agree with this. Whilst the purest would bemoan the fact that he wasn’t given a chance in the first team, you know he isn’t as good (yet) as Rooney or (finger’s crossed) Tevez.

- Spectre thinks we need a new left-back after watching the Inter game. I wouldn’t be too hasty after a pre-season friendly.
