City reaction
A family BBQ (in the rain) and a rather large depression meant that I haven’t thought in depth about the City defeat yet. A full review to follow, but my quick thought was that we are simply not turning possession into goals due to a lack of actual goalscorers. I think it would have been different if Rooney and Ronaldo played as Tevez is clearly not match fit and Nani isn’t ready for more than 20 minute starts yet. I did think Hargreaves played well on his debut. In isolation, the game and result would not be a cause for concern, but on the back of the previous two results, it doesn’t look good. At least Chelsea didn’t win, but that was one dodgy penalty.
