Derby Preview
I have a dark fear and foreboding about this game. Champions versus relegation favourites; free scoring United versus defense averse County. It’s got all the signs for a big sho … what I am saying? If there is one game that is a sure win it is this one. A home game, surely a home win?
I don’t think it even matters what the team is; but I expect Rooney, Tevez, Ronaldo and Anderson all to start and I’d like to think they’d all score. I don’t actually know very much about this Derby team, but I do know it was a shocking decision to sack their manager whose biggest crime was to actually get a mediocre team promoted.
Long term injury victim Gary Neville is looking even less likely that he’ll play again, but like Ole he has determination and fight and will do his damnedest to wear that shirt again. Speaking of shirts, United will play non-sponsored retro shirts when they face City on the 50th anniversary of Munich. Whilst I wasn’t alive when the disaster happened, I still can’t think about it without feeling sad. The actual anniversary will be very emotional no matter what is done to mark the anniversary.

Three points we think but not a goal fest. Where’s the November roundup - I look forward to your previous month’s what’s happened since the alzheimer’s set in.

The match against City is to be televised live on MUTV and I believe will not be encripted i.e. will be Freeview. I was alive when the Munich crash happened but was only 11. I seem to remember most the effect it had on my Dad who was devastated. He used to rave about Duncan Edwards just like everybody else. It was lucky one of my favourite all time players, Bobby Charlton, survived.

November round-up is coming, but I was laid low by food poisoning and I’m only just recovering
