Danny Simpson the long term right back answer?
=======Danny Simpson the long term right back answer?
>>>>>>> .r8797Fergie has put his fatherly arm around right back Danny Simpson :-
It didn’t go too well against Everton but the manager just told me to learn from it,” said Simpson. “In that kind of situation, you can either hide or worker harder to prove you are a Manchester United player.
I’ve got to admit he had a poor game against Everton and was replaced by John O’Shea at half time. With Wes Brown suspended, O’Shea was again called on to fill in at right back. Club captain Gary Neville had played 45 minutes of football in a reserve game and wasn’t risked.
It is clear however that Wes Brown’s days at the club are numbered. He hasn’t signed the contact he has been offered, and obviously the club do not feel that he is worth as much as he thinks he is.
The long term plan appears to be clear. Gary Neville will resume right back duties once he recovers from his injury and when he retires or his level of performance has eventually gone, Simpson will be the new right back for United.
In his 25 minute cameo against a poor Newcastle side, Simpson had little defending to do. However, his forward play looked very good and he could or should have scored. Is this a natural balance to Patrice Evra or do two attacking fullbacks risk being exposed to the counter attack?
Has Brown been harshly treated, or should United go for the future in Simpson?

Danny Simpson is a hot prospect for Man u,and good enough for any premiership team..right now,his talent is wated while hes benched..he needs to be either out there playing games and roughing it up with the players or to be allowed to go gain experience at another team
He might not be good enough for united at the moment but they know he could do well at most clubs but dont want to take the chance of him doing well at another club.So they let him stay in the reserves so he cant develop properly and sell him off to a lower league club in the later years for less money…if he leaves for a lower club there is no doubt he’ll walk straight into the england team.

I think its all down to money and nothin to do with the careers of the kids.Ferguson is covering his own back.Im telling u its all about chances
1) look at david bentley left arsenal young and now he is hot property 4 most clubs.
Its all up2 if Simpson has got the confidence to leave united and believe he can make it at another club.Right now hes gettin older and i think he could be a class player but 2 stand out u need 2 be playing 4 a smaller club.He cant go back to Sunderland as it would just mark him as playin for a united reject team.
He is a good player but there 50/50 on him and if he is proven good united will keep him but if they are not sure they will keep him till 25 or 26 then sell him on when they no he has no chance of makin it
Look at keiron richardson. He is meant 2 be this class left winger and he isnt doing nowt at sunderland but went west brom on loan and got in the england team. But then he messed up cause he stayed at united 2 long trying 2 be better than ryan giggs!!
Danny needs to think 2 himself am i honestly going 2 b better then arguably the best right back england have had in gary neville and if he’s not then man united are the richest club in the world and can drop him u anytime they feel like it 4 1 of the best players in the world.
