Biffafootie reports that there is a commemorative newspaper out :-
The newsagents in Manchester are selling a 48 page supplement “Munich Remembered”. It costs a quid, and is published by the Manchester Evening News
As he says, there is a history of these things. Somewhere in my loft (or perhaps my dad’s loft) I have some old newspaper specials from the Manchester Evening News and learnt a lot of the history of Manchester United from them.
You can buy a copy online from ManchesterOnline for a quite bargain price of £3 (or £6.10 if you live abroad).

I think you’re right there are some newspapers somewhere, unless we are thinking of the book Back Page United which I think was Grandad’s. It is here and does cover the crash and all the aftermath. The book covers from 1892 to 1990 with copy from the Manchester Evening News and others.
